Debbie Helton

I am Debbie Helton and I am a lifelong resident of Montgomery County. I am deeply committed to Mt Sterling as I have resided on West Main Street for over 40 years with my husband David. I have a son and an amazing granddaughter.

Besides serving on the City Council, I am a school bus driver for the Montgomery County school system — a job that I have found to be very fulfilling.

I am a member of Camargo Church of God, in fact, the church I grew up in. I play bass guitar with the Praise & Worship team. I can also play guitar, and I aspire to learn the banjo.

In my spare time, you will find David and me enjoying the great outdoors, either driving through Red River Gorge, or camping.

As a member of city council, I encourage good financial stewardship and am not afraid to ask tough questions. I lead by placing God at the forefront of any decision I make and strive to consider the overall impact of all who live in our beautiful city. I am proud to serve my community as councilwoman alongside friends who love Mt. Sterling as much as I do.

Dr. Danielle King

dr king web pic 5.png Dr. Danielle King, owner of the Mt Sterling Clinic and Spoonful of Sugar has practiced Internal Medicine in Mt. Sterling for the past 16 years. She has served as City Council member since 2014 and is an integral force behind our ongoing downtown revitalization efforts. First Friday Market, The Main Street Park and Farm to Table events are just a few of the programs initiated by Dr. King. Dr. King volunteers as a physician at the Post Clinic, the Medical Director at the Montgomery Health Department and serves on many community boards.

She is past recipient of 2017 Citizen of the Year Award presented by the Mt. Sterling Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. Dr. King wants to continue her endeavors to improve Mt Sterling for current and future generations.

Pam Murphy

Sterling Parks and Recreation.

I want to make Mt.
