Debbie Helton is a lifelong resident of Montgomery County. Besides serving on the Mt. Sterling City Council, she is a school bus driver for the Montgomery County school system — a job that, surprisingly, she has found to be very fulfilling. In her spare time, she and husband David, enjoys spending time together in the great outdoors…driving through Red River Gorge, or camping. She considers her faith and service to God as foremost in her life, followed by her love for family and friends. To serve her community as council member is icing on the cake and a tremendous honor. Debbie has served on the City Council since 2019.
